Located in Detroit's Boston-Edison area, we offer a safe, state-of-the-art facility with smaller classes and an art and design focus. Our hands-on, culturally responsive education emphasizes scholars' social-emotional well-being and career exploration.

Free Summer Meals at U Prep! From June 23 to July 22, U Prep is offering free breakfast (9–9:30 AM) and lunch (11:30 AM–12:15 PM) to all kids 18 and under. No sign-up needed! No meals on July 3–4. Open to the public—come eat with us this summer!

UPAD scholars took part in the Wrap Battle, turning their creativity into custom vehicle designs at the Henry Ford Museum.

Throughout February, U Prep Schools celebrated Black History Month with engaging, student-led events across all campuses—honoring the past, celebrating the present, and inspiring the future. From tech conferences and talent showcases to wax museums and cultural fests, each school highlighted the impact of Black excellence while empowering scholars to see themselves as part of that ongoing legacy.
