About Principal Felicia Brimage

Felicia Brimage is a seasoned educator and leader who has devoted her career to fostering environments where scholars are inspired to reach their full potential. At University Prep Art & Design Elementary School, Ms. Brimage is committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and dynamic learning space where the needs of every scholar come first. Under her leadership, scholars are educated in a state-of-the-art facility with small class sizes and an art & design focus, allowing them to explore their creativity while achieving academic success.

Ms. Brimage's approach to education is grounded in Culturally Responsive Education, Expeditionary and Project-Based Learning, and a strong emphasis on the social-emotional well-being of each scholar. She believes in the power of a collective mindset and leads restoratively, fostering a sense of community and pride within the school.
